Join our tight community of artists, artisans, makers, entrepreneurs, thinkers, dreamers, experts, and beginners.

Our current member base is made up of art school graduates, graduate students studying robotics, fashion designers, office workers who want a place to make stuff after work, small business owners, metal fabricators, fine woodworkers, and complete beginners. Our members range in age from early twenties to seventies.

Factory 3 is already attracting a highly skilled group of makers. Someone who has invested four years in an art school wants to be able to work in a facility that is reminiscent of their experience in college. Someone who is running a startup and building a prototype for a new product wants to be in an environment that is clean and professional, but also stimulating with a diverse community. As far as we know, there is nowhere in the greater Portland area other than Factory 3 where this can happen.
