Intro To Raspberry Pi & Arduino Devices Class in Portland, Maine
$100 class fee ($75 for Factory 3 members)
8 STUDENTS max per class
The course begins with an overview of the Raspberry Pi Pico and other low-cost single-board devices. Students will learn why the Pico is so popular while programming their own Raspberry Pi device to blink a light and sound a buzzer. We will end the course talking about the limitless potential the Pico has to communicate with other devices such as motors, screens and sensors of any kind.
Note: you will need to being a computer – everything else will be provided.
About the instructor:
Elizabeth Willard is a software engineer pursuing a Masters in Data Science. She graduated with a B.S in Computer Engineering from the University of Maine, Orono in 2021. She has taught programming to middle schoolers. She is passionate about creating an accessible and enjoyable learning experience. When not working, she loves to read, embroider, travel, and learn languages like Korean and French.
