About the instructor:
Eleanor Cox is a fashion designer and educator who trained at the Fashion Institute of Technology with a focus on women’s ready-to-wear and sustainability. She started her fashion journey in Portland at age 15, learning the value of small-batch, local production. After more than five years in New York menswear and later luxury women’s and menswear design—including Paris Fashion Week—Eleanor shifted into freelance costume design for films and music projects. She has since returned to Portland, where she runs her clothing line, Pritlove, and has a newfound love of teaching.
